September the 10th
Victoria Park - Canton - Cardiff

A very enjoyable Cardiff get together prior to the Wales/Finland game
and we were able to plan Saturdays meeting with SAM!

Jim - Baldy - Paul - Dave

This shot was specifically to make Captain Rich jealous!
and I'm sure many others

Or was Jim just glad to have survived the Shamed San Siro and the money grabbing Milanese
and be back amongst friends

13 -09-2003

Jim Welsh - Dave Temme - Dave Pov
Just before we all ran out onto the pitch
The Stag was a reminder for Russell and Rhodri of what happens when you get in Sams way!!

back row: Mike Morris - Jim Welsh - Sam Hammam - Paul Sims - Dave Povall

Sam sporting his bluebirdsdownunder t-shirt that he is wearing with pride and we're
all dead chuffed to be on the hallowed turf with the man himself

Jim telling Sam how much we all appreciate what he has done for Cardiff City FC and Sam thanking
Jim for the tremendous support the club receives from the bluebirdsdownunder (it was quite emotional really!)

Top man - Richard Shepherd (Cardiff City world internet commentator who often
gives the bluebirdsdownunder a mention) interviewing Dave with pretend microphone!

Tony Vidmar becomes an honorary member of the BDU and is presented with a t-shirt after the match
